The INTERNATIONAL ENGLISH CERTIFICATE© (IEC) has been written by IH Sydney – Teacher Training Centre. It comprises “The English Classroom” and “The Academic English Classroom” complete sets of learning materials for English language colleges and institutes. Included are classroom materials, visuals and on-line materials for self study. Certification is awarded by IH Sydney – Teacher Training Centre.
Many schools using popular course books are looking for a more integrated approach to their teaching programme or find that they need to supplement them with additional language or skills materials. The International English Certificate© is a complete package of published ESL / EFL materials. The programmes incorporate General English and Academic English skills delivered via a diverse range of delivery modes.
In addition to curriculum outlines, student workbooks, teacher’s books and CDs of spoken English and scripts at each level, the materials also include:
Certification by IH Sydney – Teacher Training Centre is available to students using “The English Classroom” course upon successful completion of Intermediate level, and “The Academic English Classroom” course upon successful completion of EAP1.
Once purchased, the institute can reproduce the teaching materials for their students and teachers. Out of stock and delivery delays are thereby eliminated. Additionally, schools may choose to sell these materials to their students to generate an additional income stream.
Annual updates of both curriculum packages will be available to ensure students and teachers get the benefit of regular quality improvements and new resources.
Each level includes approximately 150 classroom hours plus 40 hours of independent CALL (Wordgames / Net Languages) study material. The packages are designed as complete courses of study and can also be used as supplementary materials for existing programmes.
